The world’s only late night college hoops show will add Chris Mack, Lavall Jordan and Geo Baker, among others, to this season’s roster.

MT. LAUREL, NJ - The Field of 68 AFTER DARK will kick off its second season with a series of conference previews featuring the newest talent added to the AFTER DARK team.
Former Louisville head coach Chris Mack, ex-Butler head coach Lavall Jordan and former UMass head coach Matt McCall headline the new additions to the AFTER DARK roster. Former players Geo Baker (Rutgers), Scoop Jardine (Syracuse), Patric Young (Florida) and Meghan McKeown (Northwestern) will be a constant presence on the show as well.
“These voices are significant, exciting additions to our platforms,” said Field of 68 founder Rob Dauster. “Real college basketball fans know who is and who is not invested in our sport, and these experts have been intimately involved in college basketball for decades.”
Those new faces will join a host of returning talent that has made AFTER DARK the pre-eminent brand in college sports. Stadium Insider Jeff Goodman is one of many longtime media members who will be involved, along with Doug Gottlieb, John Fanta and Dauster. Former college stars Robbie Hummel, Randolph Childress and Terrence Oglesby will once again be mainstays.
AFTER DARK will continue focusing on providing a platform for up-and-coming media stars like Greg Waddell, Kevin Sweeney and the Three Man Weave trio of Ky McKeon, Jim Root and Matt Cox. Carter Elliott and Sean Peal will continue to have a presence on the show.
Over the next two weeks, AFTER DARK will broadcast a series of specials at 8 p.m. ET previewing the season – the schedule can be found below. On Nov. 7, the opening day of the season, the Field of 68 will once again host a tip-off marathon before heading to Indianapolis for a live-show before the Champions Classic. (Details to come.)
AFTER DARK is currently broadcast on the network’s YouTube and social channels as well as on the AFTER DARK podcast feeds (click here for Apple and click here for Spotify). Beginning in January, AFTER DARK will be simulcast on Sirius XM Channel 84 (ESPNU Radio).

There is now a home for the college basketball diehards each and every night, from the season-opening tip-off of Baylor’s morning tilt with Mississippi Valley State through the title game’s final buzzer in Houston on April 3.”

THE FIELD OF 68 AFTER DARK ROSTER
JEFF GOODMANhas worked for ESPN, CBS, FOX and is currently Stadium’s Basketball Insider. He’s broken countless stories over the past two decades, and is a leading voice in college basketball.
ROB DAUSTERworked as a national college basketball writer for NBC Sports for more than a decade and founded the Field of 68 Network. Dauster enjoyed a mediocre-at-best career at Division III Vassar College in which he made 25 percent of his 3s.
ROBBIE HUMMELwas a standout at Purdue from 2007-12, earning All-American honors. Hummel spent the next five seasons playing with the Minnesota Timberwolves and also overseas. Since retiring, Hummel has worked for ESPN and Big Ten Network as a studio and game analyst.
DOUG GOTTLIEBstarred at Oklahoma State and has been a mainstay in the sports media for the past two decades, working at ESPN, CBS and currently at Fox Sports.
CHRIS MACKhas a 278-133 record in 13 combined seasons as a head coach at Xavier and Louisville. Mack went to the NCAA tourney eight of his nine seasons at Xavier, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2017 and three more Sweet 16’s. He took Louisville to the NCAA tournament in his first season, and the team was 24-7 and 15-5 in the ACC in 2019-20 before the NCAA tournament was canceled due to the pandemic.
LAVALL JORDANspent the past five seasons as the head coach at Butler. He led the Bulldogs to the NCAA tournament in 2018 and was set to return to the tourney in 2020 before the pandemic. He was the head coach at Milwaukee in 2016. Jordan also served as an assistant for John Beilein at Michigan and as an assistant at Iowa and Butler. Jordan played for the Bulldogs from 1997-2001.
MATT MCCALLwas the head coach at UMass for the past five seasons after two years at Chattanooga - where he took the Mocs to the NCAA tourney and won SoCon Coach of the Year honors in 2016. McCall is a Florida grad and a former manager for Billy Donovan who worked on the Gators staff for nearly a decade prior to getting the Chattanooga head job.
MEGHAN MCKEOWNis a sports broadcaster based in Chicago. The former Northwestern hooper is a basketball analyst for the Big Ten Network, the Chicago Sky, and ESPN. Those duties include calling NCAA tournament games for women's basketball. McKeown also serves as a football sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network. Growing up as a coach's kid, she has been around college basketball her whole life. McKeown is adamant that The Palestra is the "mecca" of college hoops.
PATRIC YOUNGplayed at Florida from 2010 to 2014, where he scored more than 1,300 points and grabbed more than 800 rebounds. Young played overseas for six years before retiring in 2020. He also works as an analyst for the SEC network.
ANTONIO ‘SCOOP’ JARDINEwas a highly touted recruit coming out of Neumann-Goretti in Philadelphia in 2006, and played at Syracuse from 2007-12. He helped lead the Orange to the Big East regular-season title and an Elite Eight appearance in his final season, and then wound up playing professionally after leaving Syracuse.
GEO BAKERhails from New Hampshire, and spent the past five years playing at Rutgers, where he averaged 11.3 points. Baker was one of the most outspoken players for NIL, and instead of playing professionally, he instead co-founded the Knight Society, a company to help Rutgers student-athletes explore more NIL opportunities while building the Rutgers community.
RANDOLPH CHILDRESSstarred at Wake Forest from 1991-95 and was drafted with the 19th overall pick in 1995. Childress played professionally for more than a decade before coaching at his alma mater since 2012. Childress has called games for multiple networks since getting out of coaching.
TERRENCE OGLESBYplayed at Clemson from 2007-09, then spent nearly a decade playing professionally overseas. After working in coaching following his retirement from basketball, he has worked as a color commentator and analyst for various networks since 2017.
JOHN FANTAis a FOX play-by-play announcer who also hosts Big East Shootaround on the conference’s network, featuring the latest news around the league. His passion is unmatched.
GREG WADDELLis a college hoops junkie and Michigan State grad. Waddell is a constant presence on The Field of 12, hosting AFTER DARK and the Best Bets show, as well as the founder of Sleepers Media.
